Wire Forms

Spring wire can be shaped into an endless variety of configurations.  Their configuration is only limited by our customer’s imagination and needs. Mercer Spring has manufactured a number of wire forms whos uses include handles, clips, pull tabs, fasteners, and much more.  The same equipment used in the formation of springs can be used to bend and form wire into a useable element for your assembly.  When choosing a wire form, it is important to remember that sharp bends should be avoided when possible as they create areas of high stress and are not as durable or advantageous as circular bends. The same material used to form springs: music wire, stainless steel, hard-drawn spring wire, oil-tempered spring wire, etc. are used in the manufacturing of wire forms. The design possibilities are endless, and our team can help determine which configuration is right for your assembly.
